Honestly feel like TCM sequels (much like Friday) are strangely consistently okay while Halloween sequels have higher highs, but lower lows. Netflix TCM is dumb in a good way though. Movie rocks.
Maybe I'm just not a big Nightmare fan (Dream Warriors does rock), but F13 Part 2 is the best of the big ones I think
Had rock bottom expectations for this. Ended up having a fun night at the movies. Best of the David Gordon Green trilogy easily
Holy crap. I thought I understood and caught on to a lot of messing in this film, but that video just deepened that understanding. Makes me like it even more than I already do. Gotta watch it again now.
This is about how I feel. Enjoyed it way more than I thought I would and definitely appreciate the risk they took by doing something different.
It makes me appreciate what the director was going for. I still don’t think he struck the landing but I can see more of what his idea was and on paper it’s good.
A lot about the movie sounds okay on paper, but the execution is wack as hell and I just can't buy that it's one of those "this is good because it's so bad" movies. Not for what it should be
Yeah this would have been an interesting anthology film, but to end a trilogy? Absolutely not. There is no conceivable way this would have ever been good to end a storyline that focused on Michael and Laurie.
i don’t believe it’s mainly the worst creatures hating or complaining about ends like with TLJ. i see plenty of reasons (lots of which touched on here and elsewhere) why others would reasonably dislike this, much as i got on board with the fuckery
I never knew Halloween II was so disliked. I always really liked that one. It’s probably my favorite sequel of the ones talked about here. But also the Friday the 13th reboot gets credit for “Your tits are stupendous”
