I didn't mind him when he was actually the Shape. Reminded me a lot of Kylo Ren. Just a troubled teen, but towards the end he could really be powerful as he got more and more evil.
yeah lol i didn't love the script for this but they did an infinitely better job than fanfic writers on chorus.fm
I gotta say even though I’ve only seen the original and this trilogy, I can appreciate they tried to do something different. Wasn’t executed the best but I still appreciate it. Definitely my least favorite of the 4 I’ve seen.
Just watched this again…this should have been the second film in the trilogy. Allow them to do the fan service first film, veer off into a strange direction in two and then come back full circle with the third chapter. I’m not quite sure what people wanted out of this though. Kills went bigger/badder and it was schlocky. The first one was very Force Awakens fan service where no characters were given anytime to develop, including Robo-Laurie. This character driven approach is great but I think DGG forgot who the target market is for these films…they wants kills and gore, not a character driven story. Also, this is the first of the Green films where Laurie doesn’t seem like this Sarah Connor caricature. This might end up being my favorite of the three.
what a bizarre movie. i can’t even quite yet put into words how i feel, it was just…something. any decent ideas were thrown in with no explanation and then abandoned a couple scenes later. everything else was just so out of place for the third of a trilogy and “final” of a saga. also respectfully i have to ask, what exactly made the kills so great in this? that’s a refrain i keep hearing but the vast majority of the kills happen either offscreen or on the edges of the frame out of focus and i’m not sure why?
that's tough. that netfllix tcm is horrendous. tcm 1 is better than halloween 1, but halloween 2 and 3 are better than any tcm sequel.
