Horror series do reboots and remakes all the time. Laurie’s story is over. But if they want to do more Michael Myers stuff, I’m here for it.

 

The only thing is that moving forward the films will have to set in the past and not present day due to Michael’s age. An 80 year old Michael will not be scary

 

My dream scenario:
The first 3/4th of Halloween Ends, the whole plot with Corey, should have been a sequel to Halloween 2018. At the end, Myers sees him as a copycat killer and kills him. In the final movie of the trilogy, Myers comes back and there’s an epic showdown between him and Laurie. The concept of Michael inspiring evil in the town was a cool concept to explore and I liked the character development of Corey, but not as a final movie.

 

I’d like to know what the original plan for Ends was before covid. Kills originally ended with Laurie leaving the hospital to hunt Michael after he killed Karen, implying Ends would have still been set on Halloween night of 2018. I would have much rather seen that.

 

I did not like Corey, but I will say, he looks like a young Michael Rooker

 

This felt like ending an episode of TV with a bottle episode. Man. I actually feel like watching it again because I'm kinda shocked lol. Truly baffling

 

immediately thought of Henry a couple of times during some Corey scenes

 

The entire trilogy was backwards. It would have been much better if Laurie had moved on and only started to prepare her final confrontation after Michael kills Karen.

 

Laurie and Allyson don’t feel real. Their characters have shifted so dramatically since the first two films. This film feels like it had an entirely new creative team behind it altogether.

 

Never thought of this but I like it

 

I actually really like the zombie movies. The first Halloween movie I saw was H2O in theaters so I didn’t have high expectations of this franchise from the beginning. I just like slashers so the zombie movies are just two more with a familiar villain to me. I also liked Halloween kills more so take this recommendation for what you will

yeah, that was such a dumb idea. It doesn’t make a lot of sense that he rose up, after getting the absolute shit kicked out of himself, and took out like 20 people then murdered Laurie’s daughter to go crawl in a sewer. Like maybe he had a burst of adrenaline to get back up and kill everybody and needed to go heal? But they didn’t explain that at all if that’s the case.

 

I think I’ve only seen devil’s rejects from him! My bad!!

They basically half asked doing a Halloween 3 and mostly did a Friday the 13th V

This was bad, but not near the dreck that Kills was. At least this was more interesting, but honestly the thing I couldn't stand about it most was Laurie. I cringed every time they cut to her writing.

 

Kills is at least fun. This isn’t even fun!

 

Kills feels more like a Halloween movie and takes place ON Halloween. That puts it above Ends.
