Anything by the band Horror Section. If I had to pick one of their releases as a recommendation I'd say check out their 'Season Of The Witch' EP.
I have a lot of these but probably the biggest ones: AFI - All Hallows EP AFI - The Art of Drowning AFI - Sing the Sorrow Alkaline Trio - Maybe I'll Catch Fire Alkaline Trio - From Here to Infirmary Alkaline Trio - Good Mourning Creeper - Creeper EP Creeper - The Callous Heart EP Creeper - The Stranger EP Creeper - Eternity, In Your Arms The Cure - Greatest Hits Ghost - Infestissumam Ghost - Meliora Ghost - Prequelle Marilyn Manson - Lest We Forget (best of) Matchbook Romance - Voices My Chemical Romance - I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Tiger Army I thru III Wear Your Wounds AFI - Fall Children/AOD Murder City Devils - all of it..... Misfits
This time of year I listen to Misfits a lot. "12 Hits from Hell" is perfect for Halloween. Also, Ruston Kelly's "Halloween" is good...
Shrines by Purity Ring sounds so fitting for some reason. Might be due to the time it was first released.
No.albums really but I should make a Halloween playlist. There are plenty of good songs out there to celebrate the season with
That AFI EP was like one of the first CDs I ever owned, bought it in Summer 2009. I didn't even know what an EP was before that. Only thing my weird 8 year old self listened to on our trip to Hershey Park. Still jam it every Halloween.
I always thought the Monster Mash was just a one off song, by recently found out it’s actually the opening track to a whole Halloween album that Boris Pickett did.
Found Tiger Army - Music From Regions Beyond' on vinyl for $11.98 through Amazon Prime. Will be here Tuesday. Just in time for a Halloween spin! There are 3 left if you want to grab one. Adding it my Halloween list!
Creeper are absolutely my Halloween band. Their three EPs and most of the debut album are fantastic for spooky season. Think the theatrics and vocal ability of AFI, the pace of Alkaline Trio.
AFI, Alkaline Trio, Bone Palace Ballet and Illuminaudio era Chiodos, Voices by Matchbook Romance, and What To Do When You Are Dead by Armor For Sleep are all great for this time of year.
Haven't listened to them in a decade so this will feel so weird, but I'm definitely going to put on I Am Ghost's discography this week. Avenged Sevenfold as well.
