I’m holding out till the official stream tomorrow but I’m stoked to hear the praise its been getting so far.

 

I’m probably gonna get this from my local tomorrow. The yellow online variant is just wayyyy too expensive. $42 after shipping for a double LP is absurd.

 

Why can't I buy this

 

First listen and I'm definitely going to need some more spins before forming a full opinion, a lot of this album feels the same so I think time's going to be needed to separate it all. Definitely not the summer album I was expecting, maybe summer nights. It's definitely a departure for the band, which is great, but yeah... gonna need some more listens to dig into this

 

also, no one can convince me that "Leaning On You" isn't a Rumors-era Fleetwood Mac song

Well, this certainly doesn't slap like "Something to Tell You" did

 

Personally not a fan of the drum sound on this

 

I need time with this but I think it’s great

 

I'm loving this. Will need to spend more time with it, but could well be my favourite.

 

This is very good but at the same time I feel like it's missing something

 

I personally think this is the first HAIM album that doesn’t feel like two standouts and then a bunch of songs that sound like each other

 

This really is incredible. Lots of different sounds going off which is what I was hoping for after the last album.

It’s going to take a while to digest but I’m already calling this their best album (including the bonus tracks).

 

Listened last night but I was super tired (just got off work) and was kinda buzzed so I don't really remember it

Gonna give it a proper listen tonight!!! So stoked

 

Gasoline is honestly such a jam.

 

Yeah it's already my favorite Haim album, even without taking recency bias in account. I haven't connected to the other ones as much, but this one gives me some 90's alt rock vibes at times that took me by surprise. Every song sound so distinct too.

Yeah already feel like this is their best, probably going to be listening to this all summer

 

This whole album is great - officially the first HAIM album I've thought that about - but the last four songs (9-12) especially ARE SO STRONG.
