unfortunately they aren't even quarantining together. All 3 were at different residences up until yesterday when Alana and Danielle joined up from here on out, Este still on her own
vinyl delays never stopped artists from releasing albums in the past tho so I dunno why that's the excuse these days. It 100% has to do with touring.
Whittling it down to "tours and vinyl" is really short sighted honestly, and rules out SO much. We don't know anything about the special events they may have had planned (the deli shows, etc) We don't know anything about their music video plans (more PTA probably) We don't know the ad campaign the label was planning We don't know how this release fits into the overall income of the band or the label Sometimes people forget that actual humans work at a record label and dedicate themselves to promoting an album, these actual humans are now struggling with what to do. The band themselves are also weighing different options of what to do. It's easy to sit back and say that it'd be great for them to release the album now, but that's minimizing the jobs of the people who actually work with the band on marketing, PR and sales.
This is super cool, and the video was choreographed by Francis and the Lights! This album is shaping up real nicely
I’m really glad they moved away from the “lets say the title 30 times for the chorus” that brought down the last album
