they are so good at having a niche wheelhouse and just ruling it

 

There's something about the way she is drumming in that video that is just absolutely magnetic.

 

Idk why but it reminded me of Aaron in old Underoath music videos, same energy

 

Been jamming the four songs released all day. They’ve massively stepped up their game since the last album.

 

This is my second favorite HAIM song right behind want you back

 

The Steps had been stuck in my head all morning

 

I love Haim and loved their last album more than a lot seemed to! Hallelujah and The Steps are probably now my two favourite songs by the band. So darn good.

 

Yeah I loved the last album but this one seems to be talking a really fantastic shift to something real special

 

Yeah I also loved the last one (more than the first) but this one seems to be on another level.

 

Not sure if mentioned but last 3 songs are officially noted as Bonus Tracks.


The last record had next to zero staying power with me outside of a single or two. It’s not essential as a record imo. But yes this one seems focused and they appear to be honed in on making something special. Best album cover of the year too. I’d buy the vinyl just for that, instantly iconic.
