Honestly I still love this album. One of my favourite releases in recent years.

Summer Girl and Gasoline are such big vibes.

 

trying to re-edit this is a beast. they sequenced it on feel and all the poppier songs are mostly up front, but it just feels like a playlist.

 

Just got tickets to their Santa Barbara Bowl show! Excited to finally hear WIMPIII live. Also excited that this is somehow the first time I’m seeing them headline their own show when I’ve seen them 4 times at festivals haha.

 

I tried and failed this morning, will try again Friday

 

With them headlining the All Things Go Festival in Maryland, I gotta assume they're gonna be announcing a run of east coast shows soon.

Still, it would be cool if I can convince someone to take the drive down for ATG. Haim/St Vincent/Charli XCX/Soccer Mommy is one of hell of a bill.

debut is still their best but this is a lot better than the second one

Oh i meant of all the albums, like

Wimp > giant steps > pet sounds >

 

But anyway it’s by far the album from 2020 i listen to the most

 

Third > First > Second.

 

I was meh on this album when I first listened when it dropped but I just listened again and it’s fully clicked for me. What a great album this is.

this is pretty great if you know the source material
