Seeing a rumor of a Gasoline remix with Taylor out Feb 19....

 

hey i listened to this for the first time yesterday and i'm really sad that i didn't listen last year because i have a feeling im about to fall in love with this album and it would've been on my best of

Taylor's harmonies and background vox are a great addition. I don't know about the verse. Feels like a weird fit, there are definitely other tracks on here that I would have preferred her take on.

Thundercat on the 3AM remix feels like such an inspired pick, it's exactly in his lane. His voice just floats over the track.

 

On first listen, kinda bummed I agree about the Taylor addition, her verse kinda feels... off

 

Somehow Taylor's addition made a sexy song even sexier. I'm here for it.

 

I think I'm reading it right and they did a cover with thundercat as well

EDIT: OH I see what you are saying, yes it does seem like Haim and Thundercat have some sort of cover up their sleeves

 

All in on both of these. Thundercat sounds effortless on "3 AM" and Taylor is going for it on "Gasoline." Really stoked on both

 

The Taylor stuff on the bridge sounds awesome. I'll need to listen on headphones to make sure I'm not just hearing things but my beefs were more the how the rest of the mix was changed.

 

I've been falling in love with this album lately. Starting to think it's their best.
