So glad I just saw them in a small venue, not sure I’ll hit up the arena. Is it a bit odd to drop the album in June and not tour for a few months ?
These songs rule. Feel like they’ve expanded their sound while also sounding like a continuation of WIMP3. They’re great. Gonna see them this summer as well.
I forget who said it, or where, but I got really excited when someone (I think..... Rostam) mentioned that no one is prepared for a 3-4 song run in the back half of the album
I remember thinking (and still thinking) how much of a sophomore slump Something To Tell You was, save a couple great tracks. Feels like a really non essential album with major diminishing returns. But now with WIM and the lead singles from IQ I’m like….are they one of the absolute best bands of their generation?
I saw them in Indy at White River on The WIM tour. It was on a weeknight and IND is notoriously tough for non country acts so it was pretty undersold and we got our pit tickets for like $12 each the day before the show. Was amazing.
Nevermind, got the Spotify presale code. NYC is $200 for floor, $175 for lower bowl, $110-$165 for upper bowl Not terrible, but I'll pass on these for now.
