New album is superb. More subdued overall for them, but it's a great evolution.

ahhhhhh i'm so stoked, did not think they were going to do a surprise release, thought we'd get maybe a demo of 1109. saw some live vids of that song so was already hyped, and damn this song is so good!!!

 

The new EP is out there, it’s fucking excellent. Imo it’s their best release, I love how aggressive and frantic it gets.

 

damn, this is really excellent! culture scars was a bit more tame than usual for them, but this is showing that they still want to explore the chaotic side of their sound. i love it, i'm thinking its going to be tied with Wake as my favorite release from them!

 

Totally agreed. If they follow this up with a full-length that further explores this direction, I'll be incredibly stoked.

 

I've been getting really into this band lately in anticipation for the Circa Tour. Culture Scars is a 10/10.

Definitely. 1109 and Secret Wars would definitely make my current favorites list for the band.
