i love how they’re biting family guy using kayla’s character as the device, too, and that initial bit seems to be a wink to the audience of what’s coming. every time they cut to her now it’s a weird non sequitur fg is famous for overdoing.

Just catching up on the last couple of weeks. The second Carol Burnett mentioned the whole one person trick I had to brace myself for a tear knowing it’d be Ava - this season has been great but man whenever Deb and Ava actually get along it feels genuinely unstoppable. I look forward to the catharsis of them getting past this phase they’re in
