We did a white elephant at work. Not a fan personally, of doing any sorta party related stuff at work, haha. There are 9 women and 2 men in the group so it makes this particular theme kinda tough

I put in a $10 starbucks giftcard thinkin' it was gender neutral and most people like coffee.

7/9 people said they hate star bucks when mine was drawn

I drew a $10 ch*ck f*l a gift card for my turn.

It was immediately stolen. Then I drew another gift and got $10 waffle house gift card. To me, a downgrade.

Then my co worker next to me half jokingly asked if she could have it. I was like "sure" and she excitedly took it.


Tl;dr I played white elephant, left down -$10 with no gift. Merry chrimmatime.

Is it tho? I feel like the last decade of Pixar has consisted mostly of forgettable sequels. Of the 11 films to come out since 2010, only 4 have been original properties. Two of which people are pretty eh on (Brave and The Good Dinosaur). I think Pixar excels in visual animation, but when it comes to storytelling Disney, Dreamworks (with HTTYD), and Lakai Studios give them a serious run for their money.
