I'm very anxious about that sort of thing in general, but have found I can get over it to see movies. For a while I did later showings to have fewer kids, but no one's ever really given me any shit. A couple families will have like an adult sit between me and their kid, but maybe they just do that normally, I dunno, lol.

 

I just saw too many people saying it was "the first good Disney film in years!!" and I way preferred Tangled and Princess and the Frog.
also "The first Disney film that focuses on a sister/sister relationship!!" like okay but Lilo & Stitch did that too

Tangled is great, and could be better than Frozen for sure. I think Coco is honestly the best one they’ve done since 2013

I thought it was fine, but this kind of reaction annoyed me as well. Instead of just praising the film for its own merits everybody had to be super hyperbolic and say it was the greatest and most important Disney (or animated in general) film of all time. Of course the internet does that with everything to some degree, but it was especially strong there.

It’s lame as fuck to hold a grudge over music to the point that you can’t let your relative have passion for it, and you throw a fit breaking his guitar. His family is definitely in the wrong.

 

Pixar is definitely problematic for excusing sexual harassment and firing a woman from her own movie, DreamWorks shouldn't have more diversity lol
