i learned from an ex employee a few years ago that if you steal from an apple store they wont chase you or press charges. what the mall does is their own prerogative like their security can chase you down, but apple would rather the loss of inventory than risk any possible lawsuits in pursuing the theft. so .........

 

caveat on the stealing over $50 though. It does bump up to a Misdemeanor B rather than C (at least in Texas in 2001 it was this way, don't ask how I know)

actually related to this, i once was traded a fake charizard by a classmate before i got the actual one, and when i found out it was fake i was so upset and my mom called the kids mom and made him give it back to me. i narc'd and dont regret it. kids probably on probation now or somethin'.

btw I think I need to officially push back my walk to 2021 because I just don’t think it’s possible for me to have enough money to purchase all the gear I want and then be able to set aside the desired amount I need to do this comfortably by March. So yeah, it’s looking like 2021 for certain.

that said, that means I will have a lot more free time this year and can plan a trip
