She always has struck me as someone who’s like a, “Rah rah girl power woo! Why can’t we all just get along?” kind of person and isn’t able to see why that’s a problem for a lot of people and then gets defensive about it.

The only other thing I remember not really liking about her is that she kind of made her name on an image that she was a simple country girl who came from nothing when really her family is super wealthy and had a huge hand in her early opportunities. I’ve seen that with a ton of actors over the years too and it always bums me out.

But yeah, it’s very hard to discuss the legitimate examples of why she isn’t so great because a ton of the hate she gets IS for terrible reasons and nobody wants to be arguing on the same side as that.
