got a text earlier from someone I pretty much hate from fucking me over a few years ago asking for a favor (which seems to be their m.o.) even though I haven't talked to them in like three years. do I block the number or text them something back?

I would go for the block, so you don’t even have to stress about ignoring it. I blocked an incredibly toxic person one time and then they had the nerve to try calling me to say that a close friend had died. I finally got the news because an actual friend called and was like, “I know blank has been calling you and you’re ignoring him but you need to pick up,” and I was just like ??? I was so grateful for the block because getting that call or message would have been even more devastating coming from him.

Ugh. My paper that was due on Friday got pushed back to Sunday. This is not good for me because now my brain is telling me to procrastinate. But I have a paper due on Monday as well. I just at least get the basics down tonight
