I’ve never been a Bloody Mary guy, just never been able to get a taste for them. One time, though, I went to this local distillery and had their like take on a Bloody Mary just on a whim and loved it. It wasn’t a traditional one though.

When I was growing up, we used to go to diners for breakfast often, as you do in NJ. My dad, though, used to order just straight up tomato juice to drink like almost every time we went. Like literally just tomato juice on ice. I feel like the trauma he inflicted on me by joyfully slurping down tomato juice on ice in kid me’s presence is one of the reasons I’m still averse to Bloody Marys lol

tomato juice is only for airplanes and even then I don't understand it but air travel is responsible for the tomato juice and ginger ale industry

I like ginger ale not on airplanes though! Actually one thing I’ve been known to drink is gin and ginger ale, very crushable.
