@angrycandy when you want to watch a movie do you start with specific options or general moods? I’m very curious now. Usually unless I have a very specific plan I go by seen or unseen, new or old, and then basic genre. That helps me narrow it down when I have a million options.

It's such a great holiday movie on top of being a great gay movie on top of being just a great movie in general.

 

specific movies because it's much easier for me that way. generally the kinds of movies I wanna watch can be difficult to find. also: it's kind of both tbh tho because most of the movies I wanna watch fall into one of these brackets: cult, surreal, horror, arthouse, indie.

I wish I was able to just pick from two different options regularly. Often when I have an exact movie in mind I’ll find that it was just taken off streaming like the week before and that’s the worst. I love that Criterion has a complete list of titles leaving the service, because a drop dead date helps light a fire under me.

It’s on my list! I love to read but I’ve been bad about it lately. I should check and see if I ever bought that one or need to hit the library.
