This is a really good point. I haven't had beans like that in ages.

I make my black beans straight out of a can, although I know I shouldn't haha. Low sodium or no salt added organic black beans. Saute some onion, jalapeno, garlic, and deglaze with some red wine or Mexican beer. Let it reduce halfway. Add beans. Let it finish reducing. Finish with cilantro and some lime juice & zest. So good and so easy.

Yeesssss! Very similar to how I do mine. I often use orange juice in addition to the beer. I have no problem with canned beans in general as long as something is done to them.

We make electronic folders for all of the shit that we inevitably print out anyway. All to appease one person in billing, it's such a waste.
