I worked in medical billing for 7+ years and was laid off and started doing web admin for a different medical billing company about 6 months ago.

 

Tony's is good, but I agree that Jimmy's is better. There's just not a lot of options for a good cheesesteak around here, so Tony's hits the spot if that's what you're looking for.

Jimmy's FUCKS though. I need to try the Pork sandwich. Been hearing great things about it. I usually go with the Italian beef. The Cuban was a little disappointing, but everything else I've had there has been super legit.

Calling your order in is definitely the way to go since they're usually pretty busy and certain sandwiches take 10-15 minutes to prepare anyway (I think the Cuban)

It's not really. My immediate supervisor is a boomer, I guess, but my manager and just about everyone else is mid 20s-mid 40s. Just a bunch of lazy people, mostly.

dam thats like in the middle of nowhere hah - uhh as far as that area goes, i'd honestly say Patchogue is probably the closest thing to there in terms of good bars/pubs, but there is a place called 'Painters' in Brookhaven that we love. It's a very artsy/bohemian style restaurant (if youve never been), great food, a lot of the time local music, and a huge selection of craft beers which might include some ciders.

What are the grossest meals you ate as a child? My grandma always made me crackers with cheeze whiz, w/ sliced pickle on top of each (?????) Also cut up bologna with ketchup to dip it in and wonder bread sandwiches with Kraft cheese slices. I'm practically gagging typing those all out but at the time I thought they were like high class gourmet meals lmao. think we were really poor tbh
