Disney had a lot of sitcoms and stuff I didn't care about. I watched a lot of Boy Meets World reruns on there. I wasn't huge on most of the DCOMs but I watched them anyway. Disney was definitely third choice of there was nothing good on the other two

Cartoon Network was great. Lot of old stuff I liked, Scooby Doo and Looney Toons, and their original stuff at the time was like Dexter's Lab,
Powerpuff Girls, generally pretty good stuff

I have to laugh because I made myself Sailor Moon and I definitely made the girl I was crushing on Sailor Mars

I think I liked Baby Spice but looking back I have no idea how I related to her at all

Was probably intimidated by all the fierce ones cause they were too powerful for my poor baby gaybrain to face

 

I was such a good (and strange) kid that I had tons of inappropriate movies memorized and I would censor them for myself whenever I watched by muting any bad words. I have no idea how that logic worked for my parents but I did it diligently.

 

Yeah it's so hard to introduce people to anime cause like some of it is so bad.

I am going to have my gf start watching the new Fruits Basket because tbh it's the most wholesome thing I have ever seen and is objectively incredibly done

The only other anime I'd watch again, I think, is Cowboy Bebop, but I only watched a couple of series, so my expertise is very limited.

So apparently Secret Santa went poorly last year (people complaining) so this year at my job they're doing a gift card exchange. Like literally they're telling people to bring $10 gift cards and they're just gonna trade them. This is the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

edit: I might have already complained about this, but it's sooooo fucking stupid that it bears repeating.

 

Recently I watched The End of Evangelion and thought it was a brilliant movie but there was SO much cringy shit in it that I was just like "this was completely unnecessary" and I'm 100% convinced Laura WOULD love it outside of that but I think that shit is bad enough to not want to watch it with her
