I'm so down. The VIP package is sick for this.

They haven't released them yet but they go on sale Friday. There are only 5 per date though.

Yeah, I was hoping the prices would be listed somewhere.

My venue is doing GA presale tickets for $6.66 so I may just grab those, but if the VIP was affordable, I might consider it.

    Gas Monkey Live in Dallas.

They run awesome promos on tickets all the time.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Hoping a Chicago date for the actual tour gets added after Riot Fest. As much as I enjoy Gwar/Ghoul live, this isn't one I'd be willing to travel to Peoria for.

Would totally hit this up if it wasn't the same night as Silverstein/Creeper.

Went last night. It was a blast. He is Legend ripped.

Gwar's stage show didn't really surprise me much. Pretty similar to every other time I'd seen them, but they did play (I think) the entirety of their new album (if that's something that matters to anyone)

I've seen them twice this year already - once at Warped, the other at Riot Fest - and it was pretty much identical. It was awesome both times, but the second time it kind of lost its luster.

I'm sure it doesn't vary during a tour cycle, but I felt like this was the same stage show I'd seen on previous tours with minor changes (Trump in place of Obama) - Of course the set list was different, but I don't know more than 3 Gwar songs anyway, and I'm sure 95% of the crowd is there for the theatrics rather than the music.

I place Gwar in the same group as Rob Zombie. If you enjoy the music more than the production, then it's worth seeing them every time they come to town. If you're there for the production, you're good once every 5 years.

Absolutely. Although I think Rob's live show is more varied. He probably just has a bigger budget to work with while Gwar has to use some of the same props over and over again.

From what I remember about seeing Zombie twice, it was a different background image/film for each song and that giant Eddie looking monster. Was there anything else I forgot?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I don't really remember much, haven't seen him in 5 years probably.

I do seem to remember this though...

Yeah that was that Eddie looking monster thing that he brought out.

eh... There was like a dozen people in the crowd last night that knew who HIL were, and were singing/rocking out. The rest of the crowd wasn't "into" it per-se, but they applauded and treated the band well.
