Chris (Gris) acknowledged on IG that people are already mad about him about his takes on the episode and basically was like “I get it. We goof on all kinds of guys and unfortunately this week, you’re the guy,” which seems like a reasonable take.

I’m glad they got a true Blu-Ray guy nerd as the guest to kind right the ship on some of their takes. Like, pretending a lot of movies are widely available on physical media is a pretty ignorant take.

 

I be watching movies and a lot of stuff ain’t available even to rent.

 

As a casual physical media collector I didn't think Gris was any more pedantic or ignorant on the subject than usual.
