I went to the Calgary Hooters that Chris was talking about with my lacrosse team when I was a teenager. One of the guys lied about his birthday so he could get extra attention from all the servers. The wings sucked and the ranch dips were $2 which is a hell of a racket.
Great ep. Closing with the announcement of YKS interviewing Bret Gelman was a perfect note to end on.
I was a bit bummed that they only had a short segment where they told the same Tom and Bunny stories, but the last chunk of the episode with Amelia is really good
My only complaint about the episode is there’s not enough Carl. It’s clear he’s a bit timid since he doesn’t know or probably even listen to the podcast and the guys don’t do a ton of opening up the floor to let him talk. But pretty much everything he does say is funny, as expected.
