Star Trek Guys would so eye opening for people not familiar with the average Trekkie. You think they'd be at least cousins with Star Wars Guys but no no, couldn't be any different. The stereotypical Star Trek Guy to me is a left leaning queer guy with a liberal arts degree who thinks allusions to 19th century literature in their utopian science fiction is fascinating. That describes probably 90% of Trekkies I've met irl.

The average stereotypical Star Trek Girl though is like a sociology professor with multiple post-grad degrees, in a poly relationship, and probably runs their local DSA chapter.
