I love Chris (and don't specifically remember the Kevin Smith ep) but the show is quickly devolving into Chris just explaining Bryan/Guys lore to the guests.
I think they're holding ones that Brian himself is a Guy of for special episodes. They just did Lego Guys for the one year, they're probably saving Wrestling Guys and Juggalo Guys for later anniversary episodes.
Beatles guys ep was one of the best in a minute. Genuinely teared up from laughing at ‘baby little boy’
Does anyone in here listen to Quorators? Kind of Guys adjecent. They just read and discuss the dumbest funniest Quora questions they can find. Very good podcast. Like i'm listening to one now and right off the bat they kick off the episode with "is it stolen valor to wear a black belt?" Another one they just did on Chapo was "If Trump and Obama got into a physical fight do their Secret Service details then also have to fight eachother?"
I listen to it when they have a guest I like in there. One of the hosts sounds a lot like Jason Sheridan from Podcast The Ride and has been a Guys guest. It’s a pretty fun, easygoing podcast.
If I ever get quoted in an episode about Message Board Guys, I will simply disappear into the woods and cease contact with everyone I know.
