    first new album of the year i've been feeling! kind of rascally UK indie chamber pop, parts of it remind me of the Waterboys if they grew up on the internet and had access to more digital equipment (they made a rule for this album that there'd be no acoustic guitars).

    apparently this is a concept album about a fictional punk band called Cacophony. really enjoying the sound of it, very sweeping and well-suited to a bright winter day. whole thing is good but check out "The Real Thing" or "Clair De Lune 2" if you're looking for an entry point.
