I’ll never own one and they’re far too much pedalboard real estate but god damn does this look fascinating.
Is cool but like more from a limited edition cool to own kinda thing in my eyes - definitely not after ANOTHER overdrive pedal haha.
Been fiddling with mine for the last two hours. You lose track of time with it! It’s brilliant and I’m hyped for you!
It's actually coming tomorrow now, haha. I'm super excited, going to throw headphones on with kids asleep and play until I realize what time it is.
came up with something I’m ridiculously proud of tonight and felt like sharing. I didn’t use my vox, I used a tiny little practice amp I got in a deal with a few pedals
Also nice work! It’s really pretty! Cool that you can still be creative when you’re not using what you consider to be your best equipment. Always makes me consider making a tiny board of boss pedals and ditching the bougie stuff momentarily. Force myself to actually learn and practice rather than sitting with expensive toys not making any progress with guitar playing haha
yup, a tribute. incredible guitar tbh, especially for the price (got it used in 2015 for $300 I think). over the years I did have to replace the stock bridge bc it wasn’t working properly and no one I took it to could make it work for more than a few days. just switched it out for the USA ASAT bridge G&L sells on their online shop.
They’ve always intrigued me because I saw a support band guitarist using one with a deluxe reverb and it was legitimately the cleanest most pristine guitar sounds I’ve ever heard in my life. That’s a steal!!
Nice! I've found having other smaller gear helps break funks sometimes. My son has two Loog guitars and I find myself messing with them a lot and having great ideas come out in the process.
One of the first "real" pedals I got was the BOSS ME-20 forever ago. I still keep it because sometimes I just want a simple set up, and it offers drive/modulation/delay all right there. Great for practicing or just getting an idea I thought of out real quick.
900 quid. Good grief. Sounds gorgeous, and I’m a total slut for drenching everything in reverb. But good grief do I know I’m not the target audience for this kind of studio pedal at *that* price haha.
Hahah the fact they haven’t sold out yet shows most are. Usually everything they ever release sells out in minutes. Think this might be a wake-up call.
