If you like the game Wordle, I suggest playing this daily game as well. It's a word guessing game, but each guess it lets you know if the word is before or after the word you typed in. The goal is to get it in the least amount of guesses, like Wordle.

I love word games!

 

I got today's (normal) in 24 guesses and it took me 3 minutes 45 seconds

 

Oh that’s fun too. Don’t think I exactly understood the strategy at first, but I got it in 20. It was very hard to not guess five letter words.

 

Got today's hard in 20 guesses, took me 3 minutes 29 seconds

Regular difficulty. I like this game a lot haha.

Edit: Did a lot better on the hard word!

 

Got the normal in 18 guesses and the hard in 16.

Normal was tough today, hard completely stumped me. This game feels significantly more challenging than Wordle haha, they compliment each other really nicely

Hard today was my best ever, 14 guesses in 1:47. Still don’t think I quite have the best strategy yet, but it’s very fun.

 

Gave up on hard but disappointed in myself once i saw it hah

Normal was ~20 guesses in about 5 minutes

 

Getting a bit better at this now. Eight guesses in 45 seconds today.

 

Wow! I’ve come nowhere near either of those metrics. Lucky most days if I even get the hard one at all

 

I almost threw my phone at one the other day, so I’m by no means fully consistent yet. The biggest change that has helped has been trying to actively guess words that seem like they would be fun choices for answers. I had been going either fully random or just throwing things out that I knew were unlikely, and I’ve been able to get lucky and cut out a lot of filler words doing this instead. Today’s especially seemed very fitting in a way.

I'm consistently between 15 and 20 guesses on normal. Timing depends on whether I just keep plugging away or get interrupted by something at home or work. But I have a pretty sound strategy and can usually narrow it down to the first few letters pretty quickly.
