yeah I remember you posting about bob's burgers and I was like wtf greg do you even like the show, why are you watching it
I saw 2001 for the first time in theaters when I was in college and fell asleep in the theater lmao but to be fair I had just seen Batman v. Superman, so I was three-quarters into an extremely long double-feature
Several unintentionally funny moments as well as intentional moments that didn't land for me (not a comics guy though), needle drops felt extremely forced this time, the emotional beats were very on the nose and I didn't buy all of Rocket's arc...more than anything, some tonal issues that I didn't have with the first two films. Third act felt very MCU by numbers to me and dragged a bit.
I walked out of that Ryan Reynolds/Jason Bateman body switch movie because it was clear a half-hour in that the humor was just kind of gross and mean and was not going to improve. I wanted to walk out of “Zoolander 2” and “Dumb and Dumber To.” Both truly, truly terrible sequels to classic comedies. Netflix released so much crap than barely registers as movies that I can’t even get upset about. That Bill Burr movie is another contender. Just an incredible waste of time from a guy I think can be very funny.
Zoolander 2 is a great contender for one of the worst studio films ever made. Absolute garbage. Opens with a scene of Justin Bieber insisting on taking a selfie while he's dying. Will Ferrell's Ben Stiller mask is the only moment that got a laugh out of me.
