this is like the best album of the last 3 years

cant believe how under the radar it is for them

 

This was definitely my AOTY last year. Probably my favorite album by them too. To me each album is better then the one before.

 

It really is crazy how underrated this thing is.

 

I'm not sure I can even rank their albums. My favorite changes depending on mood. On some days this is definitely my favorite. On others it's Yellow House.

 

This was my AOTY last year too and with fall coming up it's gonna be perfect.

Veckatimest and PR are pretty neck and neck with YH and Shields right behind. Their discography is one of the best

 

I think theyve only gotten better too. PR is a masterpiece if you ask me.

yeah i dont get what the problem is dog. theyre doing good shit here. the instrumentation is their most consistently masterful by a good bit.

mourning sound and aquarian are two tracks that arent on par but they still aight.

 

Recently rediscovered the self-titled. It's so god damn good.

 

yeah this never connected with me.

 

if you ever liked this band it makes all the sense that youd also like this

 

That’s my opinion too. How do you not consider Three Rings a god tier GB song?

 

It’s their best song ever and one of my favorite songs of all time. With that said, I don’t think the album is very good

 

8 out of 11 of the songs here are among their very best songs

do you one further theres quantitatively more great songs on here than any of their other albums even Veckatimest

 

Shields is their best album so.

We are honestly splitting hairs with these 4 albums.

I’d never take this over Shields. Shit I’d take those first 4 songs over most albums ever. It’s honestly hard to think of a better run of songs. The back half isn’t nearly as good for me tho.

 

Painted Ruins and Shields are tied for me.

 

Mourning Sound, Aquarian and what's the other bottom tier song?

 

People always hating on Aquarian. That song’s bridge always hits me to my core.

 

I always feel like those 2 are lesser but theyre really really good too when I listen to them. I definitely dont skip them. every time I start up Losing All Sense I feel similarly in the back of my head for a hot minute but really its great too lol. I love the melodies during the “can I ask of you not to cut right through me” part.

 

Not a fan of Losing All Sense really but it was so much better live. Felt like a different song
