I mean, why would you get rid of the best song on the album? she's endlessly frustrating

 

album cover leaves a lot to be desired as well but it's not a biggie in the grand scheme of things, I guess

I really like it and Violence but they're definitely a step away from the more poppy stuff she was doing on Art Angels that I really love.

 

both singles are really really great. art is weird af but who cares.

 

Not surprised We Appreciate Power didn't make it as it would sound out of place. Still hoping she'll get back to that industrialish style in the future.

Been looking forward to this but it’s been way too long. It’s been a year since she released WAP and now gotta wait til end of Feb. Violence is good though, and I’ll be giving So Heavy a listen after work.

I was bummed to hear she might have cut one of the better songs off the new album but Black Swan Blues and Delete Forever might be the same song (Same length apparently) plus you can see “Black Swan” on the cover (bottom right)

I held off on the leak because I didn’t want to potentially get attached to songs that wouldn’t end up making the album, but now that we know they’re all the same, I gave in last night. Holy shit this is greatttttt. Echoing what everyone else said, Black Swan Blues is unreal.

 

How does the mix on the rest of the leaked songs sound in comparison to the released "So Heavy"? Contemplating whether I should give in...

 

they ight. The mix of the single So Heavy is like a thousand times better than the leaked version. I think im lucky that i enjoy hearing the progression of a shit mix/demo into an album version

 

hmmm I'll see how much longer I can hold out then lol. The new track has got me way more excited for this than anything else I've heard from her recently.
