On my first listen of this thanks to the In The Spotlight rec and holy crap is this good. Agreed that this is some of the most refreshing metalcore in a long time.

Heavy. I mean that's a given, started off deceptively melodic, but then went in. Quality is up there with their last album

 

Absolute fuckin banger, band is on another level

This definitely fits the middle space of heavy, but melodic, that I really like. I need a fair amount of clean vocals for me to stick with a whole album and this brings the heavy with the melody very well.

oh shit you're in for a treat. callous is def heavier though. contrail crucifix might be one of the stupidest heavy songs ive ever heard.
