finally got a chance to listen to this in full. this album rips.

 

this was the moment i was like oh damn this is a band.

 

I've been trying to remember what Echo and Dust Pt. 1 reminded me of and I think l finally figured it out. Prancer by TDEP

 

this record is just phenomenal. absolutelyy my aoty at the moment. this band should be huge.

 

They're doing all the right things. Just gotta get on a couple nice tour packages and the ball will roll

 

Yeah I'm still upset I could of seen them last month. They need to get on more tours

boggles my mind that a band can be this wreckless with only one guitar.

What is it

 

Pretty heavy dark rock record. Gets pretty chaotic and has a ton of interesting riffs. You may dig it.

 

I pretty much only listen to metal these days so ill probably get around to it soon

 

it never gets overwhelmingly crushingly heavy or out of hand but it'll probably be a nice palate cleanser from Erase Me at the very least

 

Is it more melodic then? I've been digging some melodic shit lately, at least melodic guitar work. Metalcore got really good when everyone started ripping at the gates riffs

 

It's v melodic but mostly in the vocals, the guitars/riffs are more in the ETID style

 

ETID can get pretty melo in their riffs too

 

but they do tend to lean more toward hardcore than metal at times

 

yeah, as soon as you hear it you'll understand why ETID is the easy comp but they put enough of their own spin on things to be consistently engaging. just don't come in expecting to hear like Blinded By Fear or something lol
