Greyhaven - Empty Black (March 16, 2018) Album

yo this album fucking rips. FFO ETID, letlive when they were good, and maybe even a little bit of underoath. some of the coolest guitarwork i've heard from this genre in a long time. been on repeat since i discovered it thanks to @atlas in the fever thread

 

holy fuck somehow their debut might be better. this is like the first time i heard fake history.

 

hell yeah! this album is all I've been listening to all week, basically. Everything I've wanted from a new metalcore band in terms of riffs/melodies and have been unable to find. I'm glad other people are enjoying it seemingly as much as I am. Mortality Rate, Ten Dogs - Red Heaven and Broadcast Network are my favs as of now but I love every song

Only heard the first few tracks, but it sounds A LOT like ETID. Which is something I can get behind.

Album is fantastic, getting some Norma Jean and Dillinger escape plan vibes as well.

 

This is fantastic. I think it's a concept/story album. I also think the album cover can be broken up into 10 parts, each for a song. Would love to hear what everyone else thinks about that.

 

We got put on the same playlist as these guys so I checked them out, real solid stuff

 

Yeah this band is amazing, got recommended the new album recently and it’s one of the best I’ve heard in a while.

Sweet Machine is such a great opener. Really displays his vocal capabilities

 

first 5 song stretch is absolute insanity.

 

so many absolute bangers on this. so many parts where it just goes bonkers. this is filling the void in my heart that letlive left.
