I think this record has just officially nudged ahead of Diiv and Somos as my AOTY

 

Throw this album on the pile in contention for my AOTY. It's definitely making my top x list.

 

Okay so I went from being neutral towards the vocals to loving them.
Also I don't know how they managed to make 9 minute songs feel like 3 minute songs.

 

I feel the same way, "You're Gonna Hate What You've Done" feels like it should be double the length I can never get enough of it.

 

The last half of it goes by way too quickly

 

Listening to Cloakroom for the first time because of this thread and yeah that band is pretty sick huh

 

love doyle’s voice, it fits this type of sound better than these vocalists imho

the dynamic between the two vocals reminds me of Slowdive.

 

This was my first listen w lyrics and shit I didn’t realize how dark this got lol

 

Yep album title and band name suit the lyrics too well.

The more I listen to it, the better this album gets. Just a massive release and definitely making my top 10 for this year.

 

This might end up as my AOTY. This or UFOF, I think.

 

Yeah, this is rising up on my EOTY list. So goddamn good. Makes me want to punch my steering wheel on the drive to work lmao

 

Went to a park last night with a friend, sat by the water talking and played this album twice. It was perfect.

 

circles of hell -> do you feel nothing is a badass way to start an album and crush -> new hell might be an even more badass way to close an album

 

I still don’t like the abrupt ending of Crush

 

have this queued up for my flight in a couple hours. think its gonna sound even better in a metal tube in the sky

 

I think it would bother me more if it didn't go into New Hell.

 

New Hell is great. Doesn't make the transition any less awkward

 

this album is great for slogging through a crippling hangover

 

Need the title track to be 20 mins long
