Well this slaps.

 

Threw this on in the car and when that ripping distorted lead came in at the end of Entertainment I damn near cried

 

This album is about 50 minutes long but it doesn't feel that long at all. I love that about it

 

jsut checking this out. first track sounds exactly like cloakroom

really couldn't stand these vocals tbh. kinda surprised this seems to be blowing up a bit. i'd rather just listen to cloakroom.

 

I’m not surprised at all given the quality of the songwriting, compositions, and performances

Was expecting the vocals to be much more worse with the way people talk about them.

 

Honestly this album is so good, what's all the noise about the vocals? I went into this expecting something bad but nothing about them stands out negatively against the tone of the album imo.

That album is much better than this (good) one but that album is in a whole different ballpark as far as vocals go haha

 

hey guys. people have opinions, both negative and positive. that's news to me. i'm of the opinion that this is probably in my top 10 of the year. the vocals have character (ala an anthony green perhaps), and the album is composed beautifully.

 

Tell that to the video game thread where there is ONE correct opinion and everyone else is a moron. My opinion is always the correct one btw.

 

Top 5 album of the year already for me.

Still digging into this. I'm not as turned off by the vocals as some, but it still hasn't fully grabbed me as I would like. Besides a few of the tracks.

 

The vocals are the best part imo

 

I think Spongebob has a lovely voice

 

Just picked this up on the black/gold variant at my local record shop. It’s beautiful! Can’t wait to get home and drown in the spongebob on the turntable
