The title track is the perfect compact opener. Emptiness Is Everywhere is such a chill, enjoyable jam. I could listen to the end of Love Me When You Leave forever. Oddly, I am going to be jamming Greet Death all summer.
Yeah, “hits” is not what I expected but Emptiness and Love Me are some catchy lil tunes. This is a really great record, their most consistent yet
Crazy good record. "Die in Love," "Country Girl," and "Emptiness Everywhere" are my favorites. The latter is almost a jangle-pop tune? But sadder lol. "August Underground" and "Motherfucker" are the two that are still growing on me. This band is the best.
Harper really has an ear for melody. I’m halfway through and Country Girl and Emptiness Is Everywhere are my favorites so far.
I swear I’m not usually this much of a psycho, but I just took this for a run and read most of the lyrics on my phone… Some of my favorite writing on an album since Empty Country II, and some of you know how I feel about that album.
i love red rocket — something kind of eerie and woozy about that one. what a great record. what a great day
listened to this album on a drive today, and wow! awesome awesome record. country girl really is an all around incredible song
Country Girl and Emptiness is Everywhere for me but August Underground and Love Me When You Leave are my next two favorites. I absolutely love the guitar and drum tones on this album.
Really enjoyed my first listen, Country Girl and August Underground stood out pretty immediately. I need to stop listening to Moving Mountains and go back to it.
very happy to have another album by them. i’m at a point where i think country girl is so good that i wasn’t fully able to give the other songs a fair shake in comparison, but i know they’ll grow on me.
