BBC Sessions is out. God damn "Castaway" is still such a good jam

Whoa. BBC Live is awesome. Listened at the gym this morning.

 

Love that the put Prosthetic Head on there. Always one of my favorite GD songs.

 

BBC sessions is a banger of an album.
don't think i've ever heard that solo intro version of 'come around'.
'waiting' is still one of the best and underrated gd songs ever.

 

Waiting is my favorite Green Day song. First full song/solo I ever learned on guitar.

 

Anyone know what this RAK Studio London stuff Green Day is posting about on their IG and Youtube pages? New album maybe?

 

Rumor has it they recorded 6 new songs when they were in the UK earlier this Fall.

 

I still think they have another top tier album in them. Unfortunately the last few have been a snooze fest for me.

 

At this point id go for something 21CB inspired.

 

1972 seems to be a big part of the hints we're getting. All three of the guys were born that year, and the year they turn 50 is a cool thing to revolve it around

 

So instead of writing about being a teenage teenager maybe they’ll write a song about being a 50 year old 50 year old?

All kidding aside, interesting theory. Makes sense.

I thought we were going to get a song or an announcement coinciding with his birthday considering all the teasers for their next album have their birth year in them
