i’m listening literally right now. i’d say it’s more a few great songs sprinkled in with fine to bad ones than the other way around
there's a bunch of songs I like on 21CB but idk if i'd ever willingly listen to the entire album unless I was doing a dedicated discog run. I don't think I've ever actually listened to Rev Radio.
I like 21st Century Breakdown a lot, but it's just so long. At very least, I feel like it needs to lose 12 or so minutes to be comparable to American Idiot. Not sure exactly which songs I'd ditch, but it's all just a little too much.
Sometimes I think Uno isn't so bad and then I remember that song. I still think Tre is pretty solid. Uno is mostly boring with some truly terrible songs. Dos is mostly terrible with a few good songs.
I think if you cut Christian’s Inferno, Last Night on Earth, Peacemaker, and Horseshoes, that album becomes pretty damn great. Those songs aren’t bad, just feel like they are the weakest edit: although obviously people will have deferring songs to keep/remove
Yeah like I said, not bad songs at all, they just sound a little different from everything else and can be a tad repetitive. East Jesus Nowhere is next on the chopping block for me, and I feel like you could replace it with any of those tracks, and the album would be just as good. The album is just a little long and we have to cut something haha
Trilogy could have been one long album or whittled down into two. It is not as bad as people pretend it to be.
I really fucking love Last of the American Girls.. I would probably cut Before the Lobotomy if I had to cut anything.
Curious if this will be a FOTM-type song or something more stadium rock. Premiering on NHL makes me think more stadium-y
