Throughly enjoying BJ's covers album. Super fun. Listened to it all the way through working on my guitars.
Yeah it's really fantastic. Listened while doing the dishes yesterday and had to dance around my kitchen.
Money Money 2020 Part 2 reminds me of Revolution Radio Preceded by an absolute banger of a single Contains some of their best work But also contains quite a few songs that an actual producer would have told them to cut
listening to Network album lmaooo it rules!!! This is a billion times better than the crap they released last year. I sincerely love this concept.
started a discography run through today. debut is still garbage but kerplunk is very very good and dookie is the best pop punk album of all time
I wouldn't say 39/Smooth is GARBAGE, there's still some extremely inventive melodies on there for how young they were at the time, but it's insane how quickly their quality rises between that one and Kerplunk. I literally think Kerplunk is one of their best albums
I've been going between Dookie and American Idiot a lot lately, both of those albums hit so damn hard when you haven't listened in a while. Going into Jesus of Suburbia with somewhat-fresh ears is such a wild experience.
I listen to Nimrod and Warning regularly. Definitely my 1-2 punch from them. Nimrod is what really got my long lasting attention from them, eventhough I knew Dookie well bc my sister played it all the time. I got back into American Idiot leading up to the election. It still bangs and took me back to election time when the album came out.
Yeah my controversial opinion is that Dookie is only my fourth favorite Green Day album (I am NOT trying to start rankings lol). I like Nimrod and Warning better than it and AI is my favorite album of all time
