Maybe a secret show there. All new songs, maybe a whole new album. It’s seems like they loved doing that with the trilogy. They said that was the first time they played unreleased new stuff since like the nimrod era.

Didn't count Shenanigans since it's a compilation, but I'd probably put it below Insomniac, above Uno! I really like Revolution Radio but unfortunately I haven't listened to it that much, and it just hasn't grown on me yet.

Haha after Insomniac my rankings might as well be everything tied for 6th. I really never listen to any of it
Alright let's see where my heads at tonight - American Idiot Kerplunk! Uno Nimrod Tre Revolution Radio Insomniac Warning Dookie Dos 21st Century 39/Smooth @ me I dare you
Anyways, with new music probably right around the corner, I've decided to re-listen to their discography in chronological order and really spend some quality time with each record. For the last few weeks I've been digging into 39/Smooth and the Slappy and 1000 Hours EP's again. The knack for writing pop songs is there right off the bat. I think it's so funny that a lot of their most traditional pop songs are on their first record, it's like they didn't even have to work at it really. Billie sounds so damn young, but great regardless. Also I love the dirty rock n' roll solos on a lot of these songs that wouldn't reappear in their work until the trilogy. The only obvious thing that's missing are Tre's drums. At The Library, Going to Pasalacqua, Rest, 409 in Your Coffeemaker are all really solid Green Day songs.
I was gonna check GDC but you saved me some time, I assume they're all just freaking out about everything anyway lol (love them tho)
