Wow. You weren't kidding. I remember liking the trilogy more, but these are terrible. The only two that stuck out me are Lazy Bones and Stray Heart, but like I said before about Dookie. Their other albums do everything these albums were trying to do 100x better.
Scattered is one of my top 10. Alright, fuck it. I will do it. In no order: Misery Forever Now Letterbomb Jesus of Suburbia Armatage Shanks Scattered She Last of the American Girls Church on Sunday Waiting I really like Warning.
"Scattered" is easily one of my top five favorite Green Day tracks. Seeing it live on the Revolution Radio tour dates I went to made my heart incredibly happy.
Nimrod is my second favorite GD album Probably couldn’t do top songs right now, I’ll have to think about that one
I love that looking at the numbers on Spotify, "King for a Day" is one of the higher played songs on "Nimrod."
I like the trilogy because I'm a fanboy but I won't try defending it Except for the fact that Stay the Night is incredible
Eh, they have fun playing it, and when they’re doing sets of almost 30 songs, it’s a good break for them to relax a bit. And it’s always someone’s first Green Day show and people that haven’t seen them look forward to it. I’m fine with King for a Day staying in.
It would be cool if they kept King For a Day in their setlist, but replaced the medley of covers for something else, maybe a medley of Foxboro Hot Tubs songs or snippets of some other deep cuts.
King for a Day live is fine but drop the Shout outro. No need for this to take up 10 minutes of a set.
Jumping on the Top 10 wagon (in no order): Waiting Warning When I Come Around Hitchin' a Ride Prosthetic Head Having a Blast Geek Stink Breath Holiday ¿Viva la Gloria? (Little Girl) Stray Heart
Pulling Teeth Stuart and the Ave. Hitchin’ a Ride Letterbomb Wake Me Up When September Ends Homecoming Whatsername East Jesus Nowhere Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl) Oh Love Honorable mention: Too Dumb to Die I dunno, could have picked a completely different ten and still been happy with it. I tried to make it somewhat balanced among the albums though.
