New song is pretty good, the verses are alright but the chorus is super catchy

 

Yeah definitely sounds like a b-side but I like the video a lot

It makes me want to go back to the last album, I only listened to it once even though I remember liking it

BJ lookin’ good too — it’s evident he’s healthy and in a better place; very happy for him.

I can really hear the Everly Brothers influence on the re-record of Ordinary World.

I also want the cover of the album tattoo'd on me. I love it.

 

ehhhhhhhh i love when Billie does duets, as the stuff with with norah jones is some real solid stuff. I also love me some country, but i do not like this version of ordinary world. It's one of my favorite green day songs of all time and i just dont think it works.

 

Foreverly is really underrated. This Ordinary World version obviously borrows a lot from it but I can definitely see it feeling like a novelty after the luster of it being new wears off.

 

Foreverly was great. It's on a lot in the family restaurant, haha.

 

Really? Wouldn't have guessed that. I tend to enjoy their acoustic songs, but I find this one to just be incredibly forgetful.

Just curious how you choose the songs from the trio? Are those your favorites or did you stick with ones with videos/ are singles?

 

Yeah I just went with the ones with videos/singles. Except after looking back, I could have sworn there was some sort of video for Lazy Bones but I guess there wasn’t

 

Back in the USA is a cool song but that intro riff is so generic and predictable it kind of makes me mad.

It's basically a Green Day song with more lofi production and a bit more lead guitar but I have no problem with that. Super catchy and I can't wait for the full thing, whenever that is
