Another useless note: I’m also kind of surprised that after all these years, DUI still hasn’t gotten an official release
It was on one of the "Waiting" 7-inches, as I recall! Not sure what the difference is as I've never heard it but... I know it exists. I'm guessing that's probably because it's a song they regret and it's pretty problematic.
I'm more than happy to have the older version on the reissue, I prefer it to the Shenanigans release.
That’s weird. I owned a Waiting 7” at one point (it might still be up at my mom’s house) and have no recollection of it being on there! Guess my memory isn’t as great as it used to be… Honestly, that’s fair LOL
Nevermind, it’s turns out I’m stupid. I had a Warning 7”. Not a Waiting one. Has the green cover and was printed on an orange/gold vinyl
Looks like the 'extra' physical stuff this time around is a little less compared to Dookie which is honestly whatever for me but... I'm seeing stickers, 4 pins, and a patch.
Very excited to hear this. I wonder if this is the last one or if they're gonna do a 20 year for 21CBD in 2029 lol
I would be very surprised if they didn’t do an anniversary set for 21CBD. Hell I’m hoping for a 25th Anniversary set for Shenanigans with a Pop Disaster Tour live concert. And wouldn’t mind an anniversary set for the Trilogy just so they can include the Irving Plaza concert, even though they already released Demolicious. I wonder if they have any demos saved/live concert stuff from the Smooth and Kerplunk era. There’s also hope they will release a 30th anniversary set for Insomniac with demos and a full concert since that was their fist anniversary set released and it’s very light on extras.
The album remaster is now on Apple Music. I’m actually more excited to listen to this than T-Swift. EDIT- Apparently the tracks are the same as the original and won’t actually update until the album officially comes out next month. Boo.
I think some of the retailers jumped the gun and the official announcement is coming in the next couple hours. EDIT - It's been announced officially and is on their own store and other retailers
I don’t really care about demos, live tracks etc but this album fucking rules so I’m glad it’s being celebrated
Close call with Metallica who seem to be constantly busy despite 7-8 year gaps between new studio albums.
