I never really understood why they apologized after the iHeart rant. I thought it was punk rock as hell.

 

I think it’s probably because it was less punk ethos fueled and more alcoholism fueled.

 

I'm glad I'm not the first one to say Rotting, I think that song is amazing

Wow, sold out a few dates for the summer tour, including Fenway. Glad I snagged tickets already!

 

Outside of the southern dates (no surprise there, they're selling well on the coasts!

Part of me wants to say "Scattered" or "Letterbomb" too, but I think those have been pretty solidly cemented as fan favorites at this point.

Scott Radinsky is such a gift to this world

 

If people didn't see, they're doing a full set of covers for the album with a different vocallist on each track!

 

It didn't even register with me that they're going to do the full album. But that's exciting!

 

There's a small group of high school kids that's taken to riding their bikes around our neighborhood on weekends, blaring music out of a Bluetooth speaker on their bike. Typically, it's hip-hop but every now and again they switch it up...

We see them riding toward us, look at each other and grin. They were listening to "Brain Stew."

Moments later, they're passing us as one of them says, "Yo, this song has the sickest lyrics" and belts out the following at the top of his lungs, without irony: "NO TIME FOR CROP TOPS IN MY MIND!"

It was one of those "really glad we left the house when we did, otherwise this would have happened and I wouldn't have witnessed it" things.
