X-Kid is awesome, glad to see some love for it. Such a standout in an otherwise underwhelming set of albums.

 

Honestly would have been my favorite song on most of their albums. Love it.

 

Letterbomb is my favorite. Rest of the ten would be really hard to do tho

 

X-Kid is fine but sounds like a Nimrod b-side to me

Of the two long multi-part songs on American Idiot, I've always found Homecoming to be the far superior song. Guess that's pretty unpopular

You can probably tell that Nimrod is my favorite Green Day album.

 

I loved that song from the first day I heard it. Really underrated tune.

 

It's one of my favorites on that album. Doesn't beat Coming Clean though

I actually kinda had a difficult time making a list of ten because while they have many, many songs I think are great, not many really stand above the rest for me. I can pick clear favorites from Dookie, Insomniac, and 21CB, but AI, Nimrod, and Warning are super consistent in terms of quality. This sounds like a negative thing, but I don't mean it that way.

 

I would give it the slight edge over "Jesus"
