Oh shit! But will it be both albums or just some of each? Dont want to make the assumption I did for yellowcard haha
Yea, with the new album, I would be shocked. But man, it would be so cool to get some of the new album and the other two in full.
Every time it’s been labeled as “Celebrating” it usually means some/most of the album but not all. I’d love to be wrong!
That’s what I’m thinking. But yea, would love for the show to start at like 5 and they play over 2 hours.
Given that it's still called the Saviors Tour, I imagine that will still be worked in, but I imagine this is gonna be a hell of a setlist.
Never seen any of the bands and everyone except the Linda Linda’s is on my bucket list. A late September show at Providence Park sounds wonderful. I’ll probably pick up tickets closer to show time. I don’t think this will sell out immediately since they are playing Seattle too.
To be fair, their setlist has been a celebration of both albums for almost 2 decades now, so it doesn't seem like much will change lol.
I disagree. They have played the hits from those albums, but there are a lot of deep cuts that are not in the constant rotation. If they only play the hits on the tour, then I’d agree with you. We have awhile until we find out.
Ah man I was really hoping Donots or The Interrupters would be on the UK dates, but I might have to cop a ticket to the Manchester or London date anyway.
I'm planning on being extremely wealthy by the time this tour rolls around, so I'll probably go to every show.
The poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed multiple Green Day date ticket holders.
This will definitely be a show I wait until closer to the show to purchase. I highly, highly doubt they can fill Providence Park.
Genuine question, although it sounds like I'm trolling, what are the songs people hate so much on the trilogy? There's a fair amount of stinkers (Nightlife comes to mind) but I feel like I hold those albums in much higher regard due to the nostalgia of them being the first "new" Green Day albums I was aware of.
