Pretty generic Green Day for better or worse. It's definitely more "pre-American Idiot" than not.

 

Kind of reminds me of "St. Jimmy."

 

It's good.

 

I really enjoyed that. Definitely St. Jimmy-like. Very good first single.

 

I like it. I'm excited to hear the album and hopefully get some tour dates soon. Green Day shows are always phenomenal.

 

Definitely agree on that. Sounds like that mixed with some pre-Warning era. I like it.

 

Digging it. Reminds me of some older Offspring stuff, and yes, St. Jimmy.

I wanted to enjoy it, but that's just terrible lyricism.

 

I'm going to be humming "I wanna be a celebrity martyr" for the rest of the day.

 

Reminds me of Offspring. As first singles go, blows Oh Love out of the water.

Seeing as this is written in the perspective of a mass shooter, I would say this lyric fits pretty well

Not bad. I haven't expected anything good from them in a long time so I can say I'm pleasantly surprised with this.

 

Pretty much fits the bill for this band though.

Especially in reference to Elliot Rodger; the kid who was out to "punish" that sorority in California because nobody wanted to date or sleep with him.

 

Make America 2004 again /make America pop punk again

 

Really appreciate the message of the song, just not personally digging it. Powerful stuff, though.
